Who We Are
TUUCAN brings together Unitarian Universalist congregations from across Tennessee to face the issues that affect our whole state. By pooling our resources and supporting one another, we turn shared values into collective action — from the statehouse to communities recovering from disaster.
TUUCAN connects UUs in congregations spanning Tennessee. Together we advocate for justice, respond to crises, share what we learn, and build a stronger statewide community of faith in action.

What We Do
Legislative Advocacy
We show up at the Tennessee statehouse and in our communities, advocating for justice, equity, and the dignity of every person.
Disaster Response
When crises and natural disasters strike, our congregations coordinate to help neighbors across the state recover.
Resource Sharing
We pool knowledge, tools, and people — so no congregation has to do justice work alone.
Community Building
Through monthly gatherings and our annual Fall Flock, we strengthen the ties that connect Tennessee UUs.
Get Involved
Whether you belong to a Tennessee UU congregation or simply feel called to justice work, there is a place for you in TUUCAN. Reach out to learn how to connect with the network.
We gather on the third Saturday of each month at 10 AM via Zoom.
